Proverbs 2:2-5: "Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; for if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will discern the fear of the LORD, and discover the knowledge of God" (NASB).

This website is dedicated to defending the tenets and values of the Biblical Christian faith and world view.

Dear Friends & Visitors,

My website is dedicated to defending the tenets and values of the Biblical Christian faith and worldview.  The apostle Paul said Christians were to overthrow "[atheist's; false religions; cults; apostasy] arguments and every high thing [e.g. naturalistic science] that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5).

To engage the world, however, requires that we understand the ideas that compete for people's minds and hearts.  Humanism is the world's oldest religion.  All secularists are certainly "like God" in that they believe their knowledge is far superior to that of the Lord of the Bible.  To understand this man-centered dogma requires knowledge of the five basic tenets of humanism:  atheism (no one plus nothing times blind chance equals everything), evolution (design emerges without an intelligent designer), amorality (without a conscience and denying a Bible-based morality), human autonomy (history proves that unrestrained man has a natural penchant for criminality and inhumanity), and global socialism (e.g. communism has failed to provide freedom, liberty, and prosperity).

In addition to humanism, there are various false and cultic religions which undermine the Word of God and claim that Jesus is not who the Bible specifically claims he is; namely, the one and only eternal Son of God.  Jesus' virgin birth as God Incarnate, his ministry on earth,  sacrificial death for man's sins and ultimate resurrection is the ONLY provision given by God the Father for the salvation of mankind.  Currently, there are many liberal churches claiming to be "Christian" that reject portions of the Bible that their particular ideology refuses to accept.  They attempt to re-make Jesus into whom they think he should be and ignore God's timeless laws written down for all eternity in the Bible.  Many of these types of  churches are involved with gross apostasy and have unfortunately led many unsuspecting people down the wrong path to eternal separation from the very God they claim to worship.  This is why it is essential for each and every individual believer to know the they can recognize absolute truth from relativistic error.  Such apostasy is predicted to rise as the end times approach and is described in prophetic detail in  several books of the New Testament, such as 1 and 2 Timothy, Jude and Revelation.

The gospel is a proclamation about Jesus.  It tells how the one true God of the universe has "dealt in Jesus Christ with sin, death, guilt, and shame, and now summons men and women everywhere to abandon the idols which hold them captive to these things and to discover a new life, and a new way of life in him."

One of the most recognizable idols of today is adherence to the false philosophy of naturalism in the biological sciences and theory of origins.  This leads us to the question:  is man created in the image of God, with a mind, soul, spirit, and moral nature?  Or is he an evolving animal with no soul, no spirit, a physical brain, and an evolving moral and legal structure to match?  Much of Western history over the last 150 years has chronicled the struggle over this question.  Intelligent Design Theory is emerging as a legitimate challenge to the dogma of Darwinism by presenting the right questions on these issues.  In the beginning were there just the "particles" or was there a mind, Intelligent Designer, behind the creation of the universe?

The Bible further instructs us to preach the whole Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2), which includes being the salt of the earth and asserting a moral influence.  In this age of moral relativism, the person who holds a pro-moral position is often attacked or ridiculed.  If a story can be slanted to the left of the political or religious spectrum, it will be.  If an event involves abortion or homosexuality, the news will be slanted in a pro-abortion and pro-homosexual direction.  In 1992, Dan Quayle was ridiculed and called "arrogant," "aggressive," and "offensive" because he argued for objective moral truths - not personal preferences.  "This subtle distinction," says Chuck Colson, "is at the heart of the moral conflicts dividing our culture today."

Ask God what He would have you do in this centuries-old war between the wisdom of God and the wisdom of man.  The powerful pagan forces that opposed Elijah (1 Kings 18), that fought our Lord (Matthew 16) and that battled Paul (Acts 17) are among us still; forces that seek to throw off the moral cords of God (Psalm 2) and declare themselves liberated - only to find themselves slaves to their own passions and ideas (2 Peter 2:19).  I dedicate this site to alert Christians to the pagan dogmas that exist today.  We are in a battle for the hearts, minds, souls, and spirits of our children.   How can you help to save the United States of America for the sake of our children and grandchildren?

My prayer is that God will open the eyes of His people to the need to know and defend the one worldview that speaks to reality - to the real world - namely, Biblical Christianity.  Every believer knows that some day the kingdoms of this world will "become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever" (Revelation 11:15).  It is each Christian's moral duty to live, wait, watch, and work for such a time and especially to manifest the character of Christ in our present circumstances.  He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.

James Russell Lowell reminds us:

Once to every man and nation

Comes the moment to decide,

In the strife of Truth with falsehood

For the good or evil side.

Then it is the brave man chooses

While the coward stands aside.

Lord Jesus, You are the "still point" in our turning world.  Help us to find our security in You alone. Amen.

In Christ's service,

Heaven shines through Old Glory!

"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

(2 Thessalonians 3:2, John 12:48, 2 Corinthians 4:4, John 3:11, John 8:24)

Why the lost are so angry at Christians.  In the course of your day to day
life, as you have opportunities to share Christ with people you meet, know
up front that many who are not Christians will get angry with you for even
mentioning the name of Jesus Christ.  This anger stems from the fact that
those who are lost, deep, deep, down, know that something is missing in
their life.

When God created Adam, He created Adam in perfection and with a spiritual
connection to God.  One of the byproducts of Adam's sin was that spiritual
connection with God was broken.  There was now a gulf between man and God
due to man's sin.  Since each person is born with sin, they are born with a
void in their life that only being reconnected to God can fill.

This is why people get involved with drugs, with alcohol, with gambling,
with sex, or become addicted to work and success.  This is why so many
people get lost in cults and the false religions of this world.  There is a
void in a person's life that subconsciously they know is there and are
trying to fill.  I want to tell you today that this void can ONLY be filled
by reconnecting to God.  The Good News today is that God loves us so much,
He sent Jesus to die for OUR sins so that by putting our faith in Him, we
could be reconnected with God and that void in our life would be filled.

That is why a Christian can know joy, despite the pain life has to offer.
That is why a Christian can know peace, even in the midst of the fiercest
trials.  That is why a Christian can enjoy the abundance of this life, even
when there is no abundance by this world's standards.  The joy, the peace,
the abundance of this life comes from having a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ, and being reconnected with God our Creator.

THAT is why the lost are so angry at Christians.  They have rejected God's
free gift of everlasting life through Jesus Christ and look to the things of
this world to try and fill the void only God can fill.  From time to time,
they must justify in their own mind their rejection of Christ.  The way they
normally do this is by attacking the Bible, since it is God's Word that
condemns them.

They always ask about who Cain married (one of his sisters, it was when
God gave the law to Moses that incest was forbidden), they always ask about
the dinosaurs (they were created with the animals and became extinct during
the flood of Noah), how people could live to be 900 years old (man was
originally created to live forever, and as the generations went on the age
of man decreased), and numerous other questions that in many cases only God
can answer.  They also point out what may appear to be contradictions in the
Bible.  Let me assure you, there are NO, ZERO, NADA contradictions in the

All of this is done to try and minimize and discredit the Bible from being
God's inspired, inerrant Word, representing absolute truth, and our final
authority in all matters.  Again, it is God's Word that condemns them for
their rebellion, so of course it is God's Word they attack.  My advice is to
visit a local Christian bookstore and you will find many books that explain
in depth why the Bible really is the Word of God and perfect in every way.

I love you and care about you so much.  I realize the anger of the lost
keeps many people from sharing their faith.  Never forget, they are angry at
God, NOT you.  Your job is simply to tell them the truth, and share with
them the hope and love of Christ.  What they choose to do with that truth is
then between them and God.

Also, don't be intimidated by their questions.  If you know the answer, tell
them, if you don't, tell them you don't.  SOMEONE THAT IS LOST AND SIMPLY
THAN YOU WILL EVER HAVE ANSWERS.  I have never in over 11 years, having
dealt with tens of thousands of people, EVER had a person asking a string of
questions say, "OK, I am glad you answered that for me, now I will believe."
You will never win a debate with someone that is lost since they have no
desire to accept what you are saying.  Your time is best spent praying for
these people rather than debating them.

Many people you meet however, will be honestly open to looking into having a
relationship with Christ.  Trust me, you will know who these people are.  Do
your best to answer their questions, and don't hesitate to get others
involved in helping you out.  But, never forget that how you live your life
and what Christ has done in your life will always be your most effective and
powerful witness to others.

I will be praying for you today.  God has given us a commandment, not a
suggestion to share our faith in Christ with this hurting and lost world.
We have the only answer there is.  The void in the lives of people that has
been created by sin can only be filled by accepting Jesus Christ which
reconnects a person to God their Creator.  Those who choose to reject Christ
are angry because they have a hole in their life only HE can fill.

If you want to fill that void in your life today, if you want to be
reconnected to God your Creator today, you have the opportunity right now.
Simply pray and ask God to open your heart, and read the words at this link, .

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

Bible Verses of the Week

13 The Pharisees therefore said to Him, "You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true."

14 Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I came from and where I am going.  15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.  16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.  17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.  18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me."

19 Then they said to Him, "Where is Your Father?"

Jesus answered, "You know neither Me nor My Father.  If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also."

20 These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

21 Then Jesus said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin.  Where I go you cannot come."

22 So the Jews said, "Will He kill Himself, because He says, 'Where I go you cannot come'?"

23 And He said to them, "You are from  beneath; I am from above.  You are of this world; I am not of this world.  24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

25 Then they said to Him, "Who are You?"

And Jesus said to them, "Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.  26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him."

27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.

28 Then Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.  29 And He who sent Me is with Me.  The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him."  30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.

We need Christian Culture Warriors who are willing to share our worldview and stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. What is absolute truth?  Does it exist?  Who is the Author of truth?

All must answer Jesus' question, "Who do you say that I am?" Luke 9:20

Why Participate In BLOG conversations and/or Message Boards?

Many people today are searching for answers to the meaning of their lives.  That search can lead them towards truth or error about God and how He has revealed Himself to mankind.

Jesus tells us to give an answer to all about the hope that is in us.  It is a hope and peace that surpasses all understanding.  We live in troublesome times.  Jesus told us, "...In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world."  We are to take courage, and, in spite of the inevitable struggles we face, know that we are never alone.  Jesus is always with us and does not abandon us to our struggles.  The ultimate victory has already been won and we can claim the peace of Christ...even in the most troublesome times.

My experiences on other Christian blogs and message boards reveal that people who frequent them can often generally be placed into one of four categories:  sharers of God's Word; seekers of truth; followers of error (who may or may not realize it); or those whose only goal is to intellectually argue against the Christian faith (or it's tenets).

It is my sincere hope that all who frequent these boards will find discussions that ultimately lead them to the revelation that there is such a thing as absolute truth which can only be found in the Scriptures as revealed by God in His Word, the Bible.
